Yesterday I read the "Little Matchgirl" story again and the ending always makes me a little sad. Such a sweet innocent girl should'nt die, not even in a story...
So I with that thought I drew a snowman alongside the poor girl, goving her his scarf and gloves, so she can be warm
Oh and this is also my early Christmas drawing, I had to draw it so early because I want to make a christmas with it.
This is a scene that is as beautiful in its implication as it is in its visuality. There can be no avoiding the tears of hope and happiness as one looks upon the moment of giving in such a time of need knowing how this moment would change things forever.
The look of gratitude upon the face of the match girl is enhanced by the splendid use of color that makes the viewer appreciate the depth of the cold she must be feeling.
The colors chosen create a feel that is both modern and classic and this is echoed in the artist's choice of styles.
Overall, this is a wonderful piece of artwork which will delight both the young and the old with its heartfelt sentiment and amazing imagery.
The story of "The Little Match Girl" is so heartbreaking, though she gets to be with her grandmother again. It's nice to see her get a happy ending while still being alive! Sweet, kind snowman! Beautiful expressions, and I love how you colored this!
Oh wow, Frosty the Snowman just got 100% more awesome. He's not even real, and yet he would be more humane and charitable to give the Little Matchgirl his scarf to keep her warm.
